Wine Tours
The different civilizations have left an indelible mark in Bulgarian cuisine and traditions. The wine tradition goes back to the time of the ancient Thracian period 5,000 years ago. Evidence of this is the gold and silver Thracian treasures found in Bulgaria, most of which are beautiful workshops for serving and consuming wine. In this region wine is also referred as “liquid gold”. The warm and rich climate has allowed the cultivation of some of the typical Bulgarian local varieties such as Gamza, Red Misket, Wide Melnik Vineyards, Rubin, Mavrud, Pamid and Dimyat.
Wine Tours in Bulgaria’s vineyards show the production of outstanding wines. On our Wine Tours you will taste different types of wine originating from Bulgaria’s most fertile regions, which will make you suspect that true wine can only be found in France.
Visit with Us the Thracian Valley, Sofia, Rila Monastery, Melnik, The Valley of Roses, Bansko, Rozhen Monastery, Plovdiv, Shipka Pass
